Suicide Loss - Resources

For those experiencing the loss of someone we love due to suicide, it is common to feel isolated and alone. Please utilize these resources to help bridge the divide and give you strength to understand, room to breathe, and knowledge to find healing.

From yesterday's podcast, here is a more direct listing to the resources mentioned. We hope that this will provide you with the information and confidence you need to feel supported in your loss journey. We are very thankful for the efforts by local organizations—Please Pass the Love, Iowa Chapter of Stand for the Silent, Project Silence No More, Iowa Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and NAMI—Greater Des Moines. Each of these organizations are working hard in support of the community—and we are confident that there are other organizations like this near you. We are always open to research, so please feel free to request assistance in the comments area below. Add your location and we will get to work on finding local resources!

If you or someone close to you needs immediate support, please utilize the Suicide Prevention Lifeline 1-800-273-8255
